The German association of the construction chemicals industry DBC is the mouthpiece for and represents of around 110 mainly mid-sized of construction chemicals manufacturers with total sales of € 5.1 billion.

The work is done by 40 committees, working and project groups with 300 experts from member companies and by the team of the association secretariat with General Manager Dipl Ing Norbert Schröter.

Admixture related activities focus on:

• Concrete technology
• Concrete and mortar admixtures
• Industrial floors

A further important activity of DBC is quality assurance through the Qualitätsgemeinschaft Deutsche Bauchemie (QDB - notified body for CE marking)

DBC and its membership do not only see themselves as an industry association, they are first and foremost a community who is aware of its social, economic and ecological responsibilities and acts accordingly. Another cornerstone in the work of DBC is the pursuit of free competition within a market economic order.
