FIPAH was founded in 1980 and currently has 9 members represented more than 80 % of admixture production in the Belgium market. A list of members may be found on the web site: www.fipah.be.

FIPAH has committees covering technical and environmental matters and also forms task groups for special matters.

FIPAH works closely with concrete and mortar manufactures and contractors, government authorities, laboratories and universities. FIPAH is an active member and supporter of EFCA. It is also active in CEN the European Standardisation Organisation where a FIPAH representative is currently chairman of the CEN committee TC 104/SC3 for admixture standards.

FIPAH works with the national certification bodies for CE marking.

Targets include:

• Continuous improvementof information to users of admixtures.
• Product performance basedon best practice quality systems.
• Respect for environmental and human health in production and products.
